New Vintage Boat Exhibit at Nauticus!

Summertime and the livin’ is easy! Classic Craft: The Bill Hoover Boat Collection opens June 8 in the Half Moone Cruise and Celebration Center adjacent to Nauticus. Stop in and see this extraordinary exhibition of never-before-seen vintage boats, designed to be floating works of art. Discover how Roy Rogers, Charles Lindbergh and others had unique ties to recreational boating. And soak up the essence of summer to the tune of timeless beach music. Classic Craft is $3 or FREE with Nauticus admission and runs through September 3.

Also beginning June 8, Nauticus is joining in the OpSail fun during the downtown Norfolk waterfront’s biggest celebration ever. While you’re downtown to see the tall ships, check out Our Mighty Seaport Village selling tall ship and OpSail merchandise, ride a Gondola Wheel, operate some remote control tugboats and enjoy shaded areas to relax while the kids have fun with special activities. Food and drink will also be available for purchase, including light fare from Outtakes Café, Dippin’ Dots, frozen adult beverages from Mr. Margarita and craft beer.
