At Nauticus, education is our number one priority. We partner with area educators to develop hands-on, SOL-based programs that stimulate creativity and make learning fun. Our unique facilities, programs and setting make Nauticus an invaluable resource for young people across the region.
Nauticus receives funds for educational and outreach programs through a 501(c)3 foundation. Most of our members and visitors do not realize, however that our $1-million plus annual budget for educational outreach depends on donations from individuals and corporations in our community.
Nauticus has a wide variety of volunteer and intern opportunities available for individuals ages 14 to 104. Whether you’re showing a child how to touch a sea star, helping guests find the perfect souvenir, or providing support to our office staff, you will be an invaluable part of our crew!
