For Educators
Nauticus offers many educational resources for teachers and parents to assist in learning more about our oceans and the environment. Contact us if you would like to see a new topic covered.
Online Curricula
These educational resources were created by Nauticus' Education Department. Please be aware that these curricula might not be appropriate for all grades and groups. Feel free to modify as required to meet the needs of your students.
Teacher Workshops
Nauticus offers free interactive workshops for pre-service and in-service teachers. These two-hour workshops will provide you with hands-on experiments and greater understanding of scientific content. Topics include sound, motion, weather, and wetlands/watersheds.
Teacher's Advisory Group
We want you! Join teachers from around the community who are directly involved with the development and presentation of numerous Nauticus projects. Your evaluation will help us with the expansion of current programs and exhibits, and the creation of future activities.

Discovery Boxes
Experience the wonders of science in your facility through interactive materials sent to your school. Each box contains lesson plans you can alter to fit your needs as well as props and materials to use with each activity. The materials are sent to your school for a two week use then they are returned to Nauticus once you have completed your hands-on activities.
Educator Resources
Nauticus offers several opportunities for educators to meet and contribute to the educational programs that are presented at Nauticus.
