Weather Wonders (grades 1-8)
Experience the force of air pressure! Watch a cloud form before your very eyes! Feel the power of lightning! In this program students experience what causes weather, different types of weather, and the tools used to forecast the weather, plus compare the factors of warm and cold air, investigate the science of meteorology and explore the severe conditions of a tornado.

Watershed Field Investigation (Grades 4 - 8)
Take your students outdoors! Examine how the health of their schoolyard affects the entire Chesapeake Bay Watershed by using GPS units, taking soil samples and testing for nutrient pollutants. (Maximum of 30 students per program)

Battle Blast (Grades 1-12)
Awesome experiments investigate the science of energy, force and pressure associated with Battleship design! The USS Wisconsin's 16-inch guns are the basis for the concepts in this program!

Early Learners (Grades Pre-k - K) - Perfect outreach for your early learners!
Story time, craft and hands on experiments! Choose your topic for this exciting program to help develop gross and fine motor skills for your early learners! Topics include wacky science, weather, deep sea adventures, and more! (Nauticus can bring one of our own live animals to your facility if this is booked as an outreach program, upon request)
Chesapeake Bay Investigation (Grades 2-5)
Solve the mystery of the Elizabeth River predator and learn about the basics of our local Chesapeake Bay and Elizabeth River animals.

Magic Planet, (Portable Science on a Sphere) Basic Demonstration (grades 5-12)
Experience the wonders of NOAA’s Science on a Sphere in your classroom with our Magic Planet display. This demonstration covers social and earth sciences and can be modified to fit your Standards of Learning needs. Students will observe how the weather patterns move on the earth, see how hurricanes are formed, find out where the major seismic hot spots are around the world and view the 2004 Southeast Asia tsunami.
