A huge floating drydock, AFDB-1, was towed to Orote, Guam, to provide a forward repair facility for the Iowa's, should such become necessary. Wisconsin's (BB-64) crew line the deck as the ship is helped into dock by tugboats at Apra Harbor, Guam, 5 April 1952.
