NOAA @ NAUTICUS

NOAA @ Nauticus is an exciting partnership between the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and Nauticus to promote scientific and environmental literacy and to inform the public about NOAA's programs and activities. NOAA, an agency of the U.S. Department of Commerce, is dedicated to enhancing economic security and national safety through the prediction and research of weather and climate-related events and providing environmental stewardship of the nation's coastal and marine resources.

Visitors can learn more about NOAA and its resources through exhibits on Nauticus' third floor including NOAA's Science On a Sphere, The Living Shoreline (about the Chesapeake Bay and NOAA's role in restoring the Bay), Secrets of the Deep (about NOAA's National Marine Sanctuary System and the wonders of ocean exploration), Navigation Alley, and 95,000 Miles of Coastal Knowledge. In addition, visitors are encouraged to stop by NOAA's Education Resource Center on the third floor to access free NOAA educational materials.
