Scout Workshops
Here's your chance to experience fun and learning in really cool scout programs! We look forward to welcoming you and your pack or troop to Nauticus for the sensational workshops and day events that we can offer for you!
Registration Information:
Unless noted otherwise, please register online via our secure server, call (757) 664-1021 or e-mail reservations@nauticus.org. 50% deposit is due when making your reservation, reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance. Final payment is due no later than one week before your program. Unless otherwise noted, admission to the Real Pirates exhibit is not included and an additional fee will apply.
GIRL SCOUT PROGRAMS

Cadette, Senior and Ambassador Girl Scout Smooth Sailing Day
- Spend the day aboard the American Rover to learn how to sail the high seas.
- Sunday April 25, 2010 12:30 p.m. - 5 p.m.
- $35 per person (includes activities, boat trip, interest project badge and certificate). Minimum of 30 Girl Scouts, maximum of 100 people. (does NOT include admission to Real Pirates exhibit)

Girl Scout Explore Nauticus Patch

- Available during regular museum hours.
- Fee: $9 per Girl Scout, two adults admitted free. Includes Nauticus admission and Explore patch. (does NOT include admission to Real Pirates exhibit) Pre-registration as a workshop is required. Download the rules.
Brownie and Junior Girl Scout Awards
- Brownies: Science Wonders, Science in Action, Movers Try-It
- Juniors: Science Sleuth, Science Discovery, Finding Your Way, Weather Watch
- Fees: $15 per Girl Scout (includes activities, award, certificate and Nauticus admission); 2 adults free with each workshop; $10 for each additional adult; troops will be charged for a minimum of 10 Girl Scouts ($150). (does NOT include admission to Real Pirates exhibit) Maximum of 25 people.
BOY SCOUT AND CUB SCOUT PROGRAMS
Boy Scout Weather Merit Badge Day
- Create a cloud, learn how to prepare for dangerous weather, make weather instruments and even meet a real meteorologist while you earn your weather merit badge!
- Saturday March 27, 2010. 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Fee: $25 per scout (includes activities, certificate and Nauticus admission); $15 per adult; scouts may register individually or as a troop. Must bring completed blue card and requirements from merit badge #9 and #10. Minimum of 25 Scouts, maximum of 100 people. If you would like to include a ticket to our Real Pirates exhibit, it will be an additional fee of $8 per Boy Scout and $11 per adult. Please make note on your registration form to take advantage of this special offer.
