June 2012 - Norfolk's International Tall Ship Festival. June 6-12, 2012 , the Port of Virginia will host OpSail 2012 in downtown Norfolk, commemorating and celebrating the Bicentennial of the War of 1812 and writing of the Star Spangled Banner. This event will include a Parade of Sails on Friday afternoon, fireworks on saturday evening, a waterfront festival in the park adjacent to Nauticus and more! May - July 2012 Swingtime Salute; an On-Deck Revue A New WWII-Era Song & Dance Revue staged on the fantail of Battleship Wisconsin! It’s sunset on a summer evening in 1944 aboard the new Battleship Wisconsin preparing to ship out to war. A touring variety show is entertaining the troops, including dancers, singers, a comedian/emcee and a band belting out the Swing Era’s most popular tunes. It’s a retro celebration the whole family will enjoy! Group Rates (10 or more): Thursday - $26. Friday – Sunday - $34. Children (ages 4-12) - $20. All groups receive reserved seating.
